Job Summary

The FIU Libraries is currently seeking a Student Library Office Assistant to join their team of professionals. Duties to include:

Data entry
Filing papers
Making copies
Running errands
Attend FIU Service Excellence training.
Complete Microsoft Word & Outlook trainings.
Acquire basic PantherSoft training.
Providing library information to faculty, students, staff and the general public.

Minimum Qualifications

Customer service knowledge
None to basic level of Microsoft Word.
Ability to take direction and work independently as needed.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information.

Desired Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively

Possess a high sense of responsibility and customer service skills

Knowledge of PC operations and software

Ability to work well in a team environment

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
