You Are Accounts Receivable
This is an entry level opportunity that directly impacts the company’s bottom line! Does joining our team add up for you? Primary responsibilities will include: Performing cash applications, processing customer refunds, investigating and disputing chargebacks, processing credit cards, managing invoice installments, investigating and resolving accounting problems, preparing audits, and performing other related duties as assigned or requested to support our team and organization.

Initiative: You seek improvements that contribute to the development and documentation of AR operating procedures and time schedules.

Accountability: You are expected to have a basic knowledge of accounting methods, terminology, and data processing as it applies to maintaining financial control and accounting records. You collect and organize accounting data, interpret its significance, and prepare accurate financial reports. Additionally, you feel comfortable presenting accounting data to both technical and non-technical users.

Adaptability: You feel comfortable solving difficult and complex accounting related problems that arise. You can adapt to inquiries with your ability to analyze and recommend improvements in accounting systems.

Collaboration: You feel comfortable working closely with different internal and external business partners, in addition to supporting other areas of our accounting team as needed.

All About You

1 to 2 years of accounts receivable or related experience in an accounting discipline.
Demonstrated analytical, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform functions based on pre-established guidelines and company standards.
Effective oral and written communication skills as well as ability to interact with various levels of accounting, information technology and management teams.
Proven ability to work effectively independently and with others in a team environment.
Aptitude for systems and software required including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products and ERP systems preferred.
High school degree required. Associate’s degree in accounting, information technology or business administration preferred.
