Experience and Education
________________________________________

Master's degree - derived for an accredited AR- C PA program. Texas Physician Assistant License - temporary acceptable for new graduates until permanent license is issued upon receipt of passing Physician Assistant National Certifying Examinations Scores within one year of hire. No experience required.

Job Duties
________________________________________

•Observation and interaction with facility in various sub specializations within the department in both inpatient and outpatient areas designed to increase knowledge and diagnostic and technical skills sets.

•Research into current and emerging treatments and methodologies for diseases within specialty.

•May be involved with various faculty on specific research projects.

•Assists department physicians in treatment of patients through inpatient consults and rounding, first assisting with surgical procedures, and/or treatment of patients in and ambulatory setting.

•Works under the direct supervision of faculty physicians.

•Performs other duties as assigned.
