Assist the physicians in evaluating and treating patients. Prescribe and administer medications as dictated by the supervising physician in the written work agreement. Performs clinical procedures including: Venipuncture, ABG's,IV insertion,interpreting electrocardiogram, care and suturing of lacerations,casting and splinting, pulmonary function screenings tests such as peak flow measurement.
Should be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program, with current NCCPA certification and current licensure in Pennsylvania.Previous primary care experience preferred.Position entails a great deal of walking or standing. May on occasion assist in heavy lifting. Good mental and physical health: assist in heavy lifting.
