In this position we are looking for a Photo/Video Professional.
Someone who can shoot high-end stills AND video to support the requirements for the Palmdale site.
Operates a variety of standard and special-purpose still and/or video cameras in support of customer/company requirements.
Researches, prepares and produces videos, MP4’s, Blu-ray’s, DVD’s or CD’s for marketing, training, documentation, and other communicative purposes for both internal and external audiences.
Consults with user to assess appropriate medium, creates product concepts, plans production, produces video to include scriptwriting, location scouting, shot selection, video shooting, tape logging, music and sound effect selection, digital effect creation, final editing and video archiving.
May supervise contracted personnel or 3rd party vendors. This individual will be responsible for video and photo documentation and program creation for all LM Aero products.
In this assignment, the individual will work with management, producers, and editors to fulfill various roles in field production, video encoding and conversion.
The individual may also be required to work with clients and may periodically serve as the lead person on capturing and editing assigned video productions.
Coordinates and directs the execution of creative photographic assignments for advertising, news, publicity, and/or technical use.
Serves as photographic contact representative with customers, news and trade publications, suppliers, advertising agencies, vendors, and photographic companies.
Improvises regarding use of special-purpose equipment and difficult field assignments.
This position will provide full-time documentation support of a new program and may be required to work a split-shift.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located in a facility that requires special access.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING: DLSR cameras/related gear and web-based content management systems, photo editing software (Adobe Light room) and video production (camera operation, lighting, editing, postproduction).
RED 4K, Sony XQD, XDCAM, EX-Cam HD and HDV
High level knowledge and skills in video editing with Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Video Suite and Adobe After Effects.
High level knowledge and skills in Adobe Photoshop capabilities and workflow.
Good working knowledge of Motion Graphics.
High level experience with high definition video cameras and formats to include RED 4K, Sony XQD, XDCAM, EX-Cam HD and HDV.
