The Compensation and Benefits Manager has the primary responsibility for designing, developing, implementing
and managing the salary, bonus and benefits packages for AgReserves’ employees. This position will ensure all
compensation practices, policies, processes, and systems are in alignment with regional, divisional, and corporate
compliance requirements, while monitoring industry best practices for compensation and benefits in order to keep
AgReserves competitive in the job market. This position will also work on special corporate projects at
Headquarters. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Strategic HR leader for all employees related to compensation and benefits in the U.S., and all other
systems and compliance processes across the U.S. and internationally.

  • Lead the development, communication and implementation of compensation and benefits policies and
procedures in the US and internationally.

  • Lead the development of a compensation strategy in each country within the U.S. and internationally.
  • Responsible for driving and implementing competitive compensation globally, including maintaining
market surveys database.
  • Lead compensation, wage and benefit analysis process for all AgReserves locations in the U.S. and
internationally.
  • Partner with management in planning, developing, and implementing performance evaluation systems,
processes, and analyses.
  • Ensure that pay and benefits plans comply with national and international laws and regulations and align
with corporate objectives.
  • Plan, develop, and implement standardized US benefit plans, programs, policies & procedures.
  • Lead coordination of benefits programs with AgReserves’ benefits provider.
  • Ensure that AgReserves’ interests are strongly represented with third-party administrator.
  • Advise and counsel management and employees on existing benefits.
  • As needed, this position provides special guidance and assistance to all locations on various employee
compensation and benefit plans.

Skills and Other Qualifications Required:
  • Education: A master's degree in human resource management, or equivalent, and four (4) years of
experience in benefits administration or human resource management.
  • Strong with numbers: This position will involve a great deal of quantitative analysis.
  • Analytically inclined: This position will be required to analyze trends, surveys, and spreadsheets as to
determine compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Detail-oriented: This position is highly technical in nature, and the work involves a considerable amount of
research and the interpretation of data. Therefore, the right candidate must be detail-oriented as to
understand how compensation fits into the overall objectives of the organization.

  • Great communication: This position must be able to communicate effectively with employees and senior
executives. They must also be comfortable presenting programs to employee groups and members of senior
management.

  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed 5% overall time (internal meetings, recruitment events, plant visits) -
HRCI or SHRM certifications a plus

  • Applicable World at Work certifications (i.e. CBP, CCP, GRP) a plus
