Full Job Description
Kelly Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a client in Los Angeles, CA (located off Colorado Blvd off the Colorado St Freeway and W. San Fernando Rd exit)! This position is a long-term, full-time role that can include Kelly Perks such as Medical, Dental, Vision coverage while working temporarily.
Under limited supervision the Maintenance Mechanic Specialist will lead, facilitate, and provide focused support to enable, drive, and perform the maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance of the production manufacturing equipment.
Lead, plan, and perform the maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance of critical plant equipment on a regular basis, to include, but not limited to: Production Equipment, Critical Systems, Sterilization Equipment and electrical control systems as responsibility assigned to Manufacturing Maintenance in both cGMP and non-cGMP areas.
Ensure the site manufacturing and production equipment is up and running within the validated states.
Maintain, troubleshoot and perform repairs on the manufacturing equipment systems including Process Instrumentation as required.
Prepare detailed documented work orders.
Understand the advance process and control theory of a Critical or Major system.
Overhaul and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on plant equipment, filtration systems, centripetal equipment, pumps, sterilization, high speed filling and packaging equipment and electrical controls and instrumentation to include, but not limited to, Pressure/Level/Temperature/pH indicators and transmitters, electrical distribution, variable frequency drives, electric motors and electrical control systems.
Additional responsibilities may include manufacturing supports systems equipment, and office building equipment /systems i.e. monitor the building management system BMS
Expected to demonstrate the skills and knowledge as a Mechanical Technician.
HS Diploma or GED
Maintenance experience in a regulated environment
