Our therapists need to be self-motivated, organized, and caring individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of our patients. A license in good standing to practice in the state of CA as a PT or PTA is necessary. We prefer 1 years of experience, however we will consider those with less experience if they are the right candidate, and we are willing to mentor those with less experience. Responsibilities for PT:
- Perform initial patient evaluations and periodic re-evaluations
- Establish an appropriate plan of care which addresses the patient's functional problems
- Perform appropriate therapeutic intervention to achieve the patient's maximum function and independence to relieve pain
- Develop home exercises program
- Maintain communication with the staff, MD, agency in regards to the status of the patient including implementation of treatment plan, changes in status, and discharge from care
