Building Maintenance Mechanic
The Building Maintenance Mechanic performs general maintenance and repair of equipment in facility. Requires strong mechnical knowledge. Skills in such trades as welding, hydraulics, fabrication and carpentry are a plus. Work involves a variety of the following duties: Repairs on all types of warehouse doors, dock levelers, dock locks, steel racking and other misc. equipment, plus assists in operation, maintenance, repair and installation of but not limited to mechanical, electrical, or sanitary systems. Perform general maintenance and repair of the establishments' machinery. (May require support outside regular working hours).
Salary starts at $25.00/hour up to $30.00 (wage will be determined by level of experience) and an annual Union increase. Union position: great starting pay, excellent Medical/Optical benefits with pension option.
Position will require some outside maintenance and subject to noise and variable temperatures.
