POSITION SUMMARY

The Training and Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the Radiology Partners Training Program. This position supports proper planning, design, development, execution, and maintenance of training materials and tools for Radiology Partners onshore and offshore resources. This position partners with the Revenue Cycle Support team and the Training and Development Manager to ensure all aspects of the training delivery meet the learning objectives throughout the year. This position also supports the reporting and evaluation of all training outcomes.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop training content and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the local office for questions
  • Develop internal guidelines and procedures that will allow for consistent development of training materials
  • Conduct training material quality review sessions with internal stakeholders to validate requirements are met
  • Become a subject matter expert for systems, tools, and processes to be trained
  • Partner with colleagues to create a work environment reflective of our principles and values

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in the field of Instructional Design, Training, Education, Learning Management, or related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience in curriculum development utilizing adult learning principles
  • 2-4 years of experience in revenue cycle in a fast paced, high volume, managed care environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Healthcare reimbursement/collections, medical billing, CPT/ICD9/ICD10 coding, financial reporting and management, with a strong knowledge of the collections process
  • 1 year of experience working with graphic design tools e.g. Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, Snagit
  • Prior experience working with a SCORM compliant Learning Management System platform
  • Strong working knowledge and ability in developing a variety of training materials used to present information to both large and small audiences
  • Enjoy working independently while collaborating with Program Trainers
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS PowerPoint required; intermediate skills in MS Word and Outlook required
  • Radiology Revenue Cycle and Billing experience is preferred
  • Self-starter with high degree of drive, initiative, and follow through
