Overview
The Vice President, Global Sales is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet the company objectives. Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.

Responsibilities
Develops company annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives, and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP of marketing.
Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses with specific experience selling HW/SW solutions into:
Cloud Service providers
Content Delivery Network providers
WEB/App hosting providers
Enterprise IT organizations
Storage Solution Providers
Electronic Trading Organizations
Supporting ecosystem providers like OEM/ODM’s, VAR’s, SI’s and Distributors
Implements approved distribution strategies.
Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
Must demonstrate good understanding of the modern data center environments using technologies such as SW load balancers, virtualized application hosting (Containers), content delivery and database accelerators (Redis, Memchached) solutions / open source applications as well as HW networking and Ethernet adapters.
Manage and drive the global sales funnel in to maximize the sales efficiency and opportunity
Responsible for implementing sales training programs designed improve sales outcomes
Provide updates and dissemination of pertinent information to key stakeholders including CEO, BOD, internal and external
Qualifications
Proven strategic thinker with 10+ years of relevant industry global sales leadership
Results driven
Strong P&L understanding
A bachelor’s degree is or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, computer science, or related; or equivalent experience
Strong experience developing high impact sales teams in similar technical environment
Demonstrable track record achieving sales growth
Leverage contacts and resources to drive key partnerships and business opportunities
Position is located in Irvine Corporate Headquarters office but one should be able to travel both domestically and internationally as required
