Deliver direct, quality patient care, utilizing a basic clinical skill level and knowledge base. Develop, implements and evaluates/revises a plan of care.
Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promotes personal and professional development. Participate in Service Excellence Program.
Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or temporary North Carolina licensure or meet requirements to hold RN licensure in a compact state.
Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on unit requirements.
FOR EASTCARE TRANSPORT RN's: ACLS, BLS, PALS. NRP, TNCC must be obtained before the end of orientation, One specialty certification for example, CFRN or must be obtained within 2 years of hire is required. 3 to 5 years experience as a RN is required from an ICU or ER setting.
The ability to treat patients under EastCare protocols is determined by the EastCare Medical Director.
