The U.S. Consumer Services and Digital Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.
The Membership Services Technology organization is part of USCDT team and delivers the technologies needed to power these experiences enjoyed by our card members. We are tasked with designing, building and integrating the appropriate technical, architectural and business solutions for all online/web products enterprise-wide applications for Membership Services products within American Express.
The position will be within Resy, a division under the Membership Services Technology organization. Resy is the American Express global dining platform. Our mission is to power the world’s best restaurants, using technology to imagine the future of hospitality. We serve 6,000 restaurants globally.
The Manager Assistant will report directly to the CTO of Resy Technology within Membership Services Technology and will be responsible for a broad range of activities including strategic, analytic, and communications initiatives to help ensure the objectives of the team are met. They will be a key member of the Leadership Team, working closely and collaborating with all members of this team. They will possess outstanding thought leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills, and will have a proven record of excellence operating independently and within a high performing team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
The individual must be organized, culturally-aware and a strong communicator who can effectively multitask and prioritize as needs evolve. Additional qualifications include:
- Must have 5+ years of relevant experience within Technology.
- Proven ability to navigate effectively and efficiently within American Express, with a strong understanding of Amex businesses, processes, and operations.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Demonstrated project management, organization and planning skills applied in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills with strong personal presence.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Active listening skills, summarization skills, and lateral thinking to uncover and react to emerging opportunities.
- Must have experience in the organisation of Technology (incl TWTE).
- Prior experience in capacity planning and financial reporting.
- University Degree preferred or combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and be flexible when faced with changing priorities.
- Able to deal with confidential information without exception.
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
