Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Deployment Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

Operate across a myriad of internal Google groups and external organizations to ready and implement operations processes and projects.
Manage proposals, bids, scope definition, engineering design cycles and design review and approvals for a FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) network, specifically, the selection of construction vendors. Manage vendor scope of work (SOW), project change orders and materials procurement sufficient to meet contractual requirements.
Support finance metric development, reporting and dashboard reporting.
Lead process improvements that result in efficiency and efficacy gains throughout deployment and operations in the market.
Execute multiple projects/programs/planning in support of regional long term processes.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of industry experience with fiber optic access infrastructure.
Experience managing capital technical programs, while directly managing vendors in large scope projects.
MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical, or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrate understanding of Project Management and Execution.
Ability to develop the process flow to accelerate FTTH design with incredible value.
Ability to deploy troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work cross-functionally with the product manager to normalize addresses and key data, and coordinate with the city project manager to track as-built documentation.
