This position will report to the Manager of Communications and will be responsible for coordinating with all internal corporate and employee communications efforts, across all departments and all lines of business. This role will support enterprise-wide Associate campaigns designed to build, expand, strengthen and maintain the Company's culture, business needs and active engagement of its Associates through corporate communications channels including but not limited to the Corporate Intranet, newsletters, email, large scale meetings, events (both internal and external) and business collateral. Provide event support on the Company’s Associate Giving strategy. Provide assistance for Corporate, Crisis and CSR public relations campaigns. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the Company’s intranet site by maintaining and publishing news updates for the Company to view on a daily basis. The Coordinator will identify innovative ways to communicate with Associates on key events, organizational updates and business initiatives.

Qualifications
Assist with execution of multi-faceted associate Strategic Communications Programs including advertising, events and engagement efforts designed to build awareness and strengthen DSG culture, consistently promote Company mission, goals and strategic objectives. Support day-to-day internal communication needs/requests from business partners.

Responsible for the daily oversight of the company intranet including writing, editing and posting stories, pertinent industry news, images, web links, corporate events and learning documentation on the site in a strategic, timely, and relevant manner. Tasked with researching best practices for corporate intranet sites, soliciting feedback from users and engaging with IT where applicable to ensure the site is an effective, user-friendly business tool for employees.

Support event management efforts for select associate-facing events from conception through execution including layout/design, agency/vendor management, budget oversite, talent/celebrity relations, executive engagement, staffing, permitting, invitations/RSVP, among others.

Proactively manages agencies for DSG-TV determining necessary content and timing, video shooting & editing as well as scheduling and distribution of final product. Coordination of other outside vendor support for communication needs as necessary.

Support Company’s Associate Giving strategy – helping to execute and expand project/events/initiatives.

Maintains an overall corporate communications calendar for the intranet, employee email messages, internal and external events and campaigns by partnering with public relations, community marketing, social media, human resources and investor relations. Plan and manage budget for all activities related to corporate communications.

Bachelor's Degree

3-5 years of experience

English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field

Working knowledge of Sharepoint 2010

Public Relations, Writing/Editing; Photoshop skills a plus

Working knowledge of Photoshop & InDesign
