Job Description
Tiverton is seeking a proactive and resourceful Senior Analyst to join our Financial Planning, Accounting, and Compliance (“FPAC”) team who can provide the highest quality financial analysis and accounting acumen for Tiverton, while also undertaking various other tasks required at a fast-growing company. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with the desire to work in a dynamic environment. This position will be an integral part of the Tiverton team and provide critical support to both the FPAC team and the organization. The successful Senior Financial Analyst will be self-motivated and energized by working with a group of thoughtful, smart, and skilled colleagues.
For the Investment Manager:

Analyze financial data and assist with preparing various dashboards and financial reports

Assist with coding and managing expense reporting, including allocation of fund related expenses
For the Funds:

Assist with investment reporting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and month-end close reconciliations

Help manage and assist with audits, compliance, and tax quarterly, yearly, and ad hoc requests

Assist with cash management, monitoring credit lines, and calculating interest & fees

Complete investor requests such as fund performance and special projects as they arise

Develop and maintain robust internal controls over investments and fund reporting
For the Portfolio Companies:

Partner with portfolio company leadership to build out best-in-class financial reporting and dashboards including various KPIs, benchmark reports, budget-to-actuals, etc.

Develop and participate in process improvement projects and internal control implementation
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or other related majors

2-4 years of experience in public accounting, private industry, fund accounting, or a financial analysis role

CPA required
-
Fluent in Microsoft Office products, emphasis on Excel

Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
