Responsibilities & Duties:
He/she is responsible and accountable for the daily leadership of line production up to 22 employees. Working with Supervisors, Quality Assurance, Mechanics, and Line employees to efficiently and safely produce high-quality products below costs. The candidate will be trained and expected to meet the necessary qualifications for certification (i.e. fork truck).
High school or GED diploma – Preferred 2 yrs. college degree or associate
Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish (written, orally, and reading).
Computer skills – Excel & Word documents.
Able to direct others
Basic mechanical skills (aptitude, problem-solving while working previously with the machine (s))
Standing 8 hours shifts
Environment temperature can fluctuate
Plant environment would have strong smell of vinegar and/or spices
Physical Demand Classification (PDC):
Reaching, handling, fingering, high repetition, twisting, turning.
