About the Opportunity:
DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for an Enterprise Architect with experience in Azure for our federal client in the Health IT space.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that the overall IT architecture is maintained in a coherent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for its security and quality
Work with the client to ensure that the respective business, application, data and technology perspectives are in line with the organization’s technology and governance strategies, policies and standards
Create solutions using PaaS with cloud platforms such as Azure
Work as a Cloud Architect with a team to define frameworks and help implement the best practices for complex deployments in the Azure Cloud
Understand full end-to-end life cycle deployment at an enterprise level.
Work with client to tailor the enterprise architecture models to Azure and advise the team on how to implement the model
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to advise senior leadership, directly interfacing with client on a regular basis
Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of experience as a software engineer and/or architect
Strong Knowledge required in Azure, multiple years of Azure experience
Azure Cloud Certification
Experience architecting solutions on Azure
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
Worked with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, or similar
Superb written and oral communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated and excellent presentation skills
Ability to effectively work both autonomously as well as on a team
Experience in project technical estimation, component breakdown, and cross application communication
