The Creative Experiences (Creative X) team redefines creativity by delivering integrated marketing creative for Facebook and Messenger. Our goals align with the broader Facebook company mission of community and bringing people closer together. We create experiences that help people discover, understand, and fall in love with Facebook's products and programs.
All outbound consumer-facing creative and global events work is creatively developed and/or managed by the Creative X team. Our focus is outbound creative experiences including Facebook/social, TV, OOH and Global Events. This ensures a consistent and strong creative narrative for work that reaches an audience of over 2.5 billion people. We scale with the support of external production partners and vendors, and take cues from our Facebook culture of moving fast, being bold, and iterating.
This role, Operations Lead, will oversee operations for the Creative X team, globally. The candidate will be responsible for balancing team needs while planning and leading the team organization and ways of working for the future.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience managing creative operations for an advertising or marketing team. It is a wonderful role for leaders and builders, who thrive within a fast-paced, often ambiguous, start-up environment.
Lead and inspire the Creative X operations team including resourcing and creative program managers
Provide thought leadership in establishing, implementing, and improving creative process for the team with a 6-12 month vision
Develop operational KPI's and ideate creative operations initiatives that map to KPI's
Optimize systems, tools, and standards to improve the way the Creative X team works within Facebook and to best meet marketing goals and plans
Develop creative process and workflows, for both internal and external processes, and optimize when needed
Create systems that demonstrate and calculate value of the Creative X team
Leverage creative team operations experience to develop various creative operations initiatives including, but not limited to: recruiting, on-boarding, people programs, growth programs, and learning and development for the Creative X team
Develop systems to manage resource requests, and to coordinate resources across multiple projects and teams
Develop a creative review process across the global offices, and implement/manage this process with creative leaders
Demonstrate financial accountability by determining budget allocation and ideating/implementing financial tracking methods across the Creative X team leads
Organize and plan for Creative X global team communications and process adherence, in partnership with facilities
Plan and implement systems for archiving creative deliverables
Create strong partnerships with Facebook marketing operations, strategic sourcing, and facilities
Lead with vision in working with Creative X Program Managers, Creative X leadership, and Marketing leadership
Improve how the Marketing and Creative X organizations work together, with cross-functional partners, and external vendors and contractors
10+ years experience working with Marketing, Creative Agencies and Production companies
Creative operations experience within creative agencies and/or creative production companies
Knowledge of operational contributions at both strategic and tactical levels
Experience in driving changes in an operational processes
Cross-functional collaboration experience
Managerial experience with experience setting priorities, problem-solving, and multi-tasking
