SME need to complete a thorough fact-check review of AI-generated and/or shared learning material (i.e., 1 Competency’s/section worth of material), with specific focus on facts, claims, data, statistics, figures, quotes, names, places, and descriptions of current and recent events.
Fact-checkers will provide written feedback about inaccurate or misleading material along with proposed corrections (including 2 primary published resources).
SMEs will add their comments in the same manuscript through track changes and provide links to resource with correct content. Only 1 round of review will be done by the SME. The Client will not provide any feedback, unless there are links that are redundant.
SMEs will check only for accuracy of the content and not for applicability or flow to the curriculum or mapping of the content to the evidence statements or the learning objective is not a part of scope of work. SMEs will include the resources only if the current ones are inappropriate. There is no requirement
to add new resources, and no new content has to be created. For any inappropriate content, SMEs will provide relevant references that can be used by The Client. References should not be Wikipedia links.
- Provider was not the original development source for the learning material.
- Services include recruitment, instruction, and management of personnel required to complete the service.
- Average section word count is 12,000 words (+/- 25%) and possibility up to 650 assessment items.
Note:
- SME static IPv4 will be required to provide the Client platform access.
- A Hurix email ID will be created for the SME to access the Client platform.
SME Requirements Criteria:
· Doctorate in special education preferred, master’s in special education required. · Substantial K-12 teaching or administrator experience in the field of special education, particularly with students
exhibiting mild to moderate disabilities and Current relevant teaching license – K-12 special education. · Substantial teaching or administrator experience in the field of special education, particularly with students
exhibiting mild to moderate disabilities.
· Expertise in developing and evaluating curricula, including learning objectives, selecting content, and designing
learning experiences that align with educational standards – InTASC, CAEP, CEC, Utah · Experience working with a diverse range of students with mild to moderate exceptionalities. · Post pandemic experience with the following:
- Use of various digital tools to facilitate instruction, communication, and assessment. • Accommodating diverse learning needs in different settings (in-person, hybrid and remote) • Social and emotional learning for students with exceptionalities
- Building family partnerships through collaboration and communication
- Strategies for addressing learning loss and providing targeted interventions to help students catch up on missed instruction during periods of disruption.
- Providing education services in a culturally responsive manner, considering diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Adapt assessment methods to different learning environments (in-person, hybrid and remote) • Preparing for and leading remote IEP meetings
