Summary
As an Executive Director of Cybersecurity, the quest to find new and innovative technological solutions to protect our assets, data and people is what drives you. You’ll lead a highly motivated team laser-focused on analyzing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen our operations. You’ll share your expertise, thought leadership and overall guidance and support, both with your team and across all our business and technology groups. You’ll deploy best practices, implement new policies, and embrace emerging trends to strengthen our strategic roadmap. Finally, you will lead by example and earn the trust of the internal team, collaborators from around the world working in our global team of technologists and innovators, senior management, and, the people and companies whose assets we manage and protect.

Responsibilities
JPMC’s Cyber Defense & Fraud (CD&F) Product team builds, enhances, and sustains a suite of consumable products that defend the bank against Cyber threats. It is the responsibility of the collective product team to contribute to shared product outcomes within the overall context of the product strategy. Working together we form the complete "tribe" as custodians of product strategy, solution and enterprise architecture, core engineering, API enablement, prioritization and execution of complex change portfolios, stability, sustainability and control effectiveness.

The Area Product Manager (APM) plays a key senior role leading a portfolio of Security Products aligned to a common set of threat response capabilities and stakeholders. The Infrastructure and End User Product area is responsible for security on Endpoints, Core Network Services, Web Services, Email and Collaboration tools. The APM wears many hats, and requires the ability to be both strategic and operational. The APM is responsible for setting and evangelizing the vision that achieves business objectives, and manages the team of Product Owners that brings the vision forward. Consistent engagement with senior executive and front-line stakeholders is paramount to build consensus and drive decisions. Each APM is partnered with an Engineering Lead who drives the technical agenda and workforce in delivering against the Product roadmap.

Specific responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of Product Owners to define, market and drive a defense-in-depth product strategy delivering sustainable, consumable, and effective controls.
Maintains a control framework to represent and continuously measure the collective suite of controls in the Area Product.
Partner with line of business leaders to understand business pipelines and challenges, and ensure roadmap is addressing and enabling the business agenda.
Build vendor management framework to ensure existing and developing products are continually evaluated and influence based on JP Morgan needs and the changing threat landscape.
Work closely with Enterprise technology leadership to partner on Firmwide product roadmaps and ensure day to day activities have the appropriate priority and alignment to strategy.
Responsible for the Area Product P&L, and driving an efficiency agenda to maximize ROI.
Lead regulator and audit engagement and product readiness.
Required Skills/Experience
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of progressive experience in a plan, build and/or operation role within information technology.
Proven experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, reports, backlog and documentation for enterprise technology solutions.
Ability to translate business requirements to technology architecture plans
Technology expertise in one of the listed domains with a broad knowledge/understanding of the others:
Network Security
Endpoint Security
Email Security
Knowledge of the latest threat and security trends
Experience delivering within cloud based environments & applications
Experience in continuous delivery using Agile delivery concepts and toolkits
Strong influence and negotiating skills, and the ability to overcome barriers to execute against strategic plans
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of a large enterprise organization.
Experience in management consulting or internal consulting.
Experience working both independently and in a virtual, collaborative environment is essential.
Advanced expertise in Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies, tactics and strategy to protect, detect, respond and recover from attacks
Deep fluency in national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry Cybersecurity
Seasoned command of multiple disciplines, optimizing Cybersecurity products and services through the lifecycle
Recognized expertise in Cybersecurity and Agile, creating competitive advantage through the application of leading-edge technologies and methodologies
Strategically oriented and can influence at the group and Firm level as needed
Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm, and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals

Preferred Experience/Skill
Experience with compliance standards/programs (FISMA, PCI, NIST)
Active professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP or other industry qualification)
“Big 4” consulting experience a plus.
