What you will do
As a Data Engineer on the Solution Development team, you will be responsible for understanding, developing, managing, and documenting data warehousing and ETL solutions that utilize various technologies to drive process efficiencies for business resources while delivering new and enhanced capabilities. The Data Engineer will work closely with analysts engaged in supporting Stryker's Sage business to deliver a data warehouse that fulfills reporting and analytics requirements. This position offers visibility to a wide array of sales, finance, and supply chain systems, processes, and data. The position requires a deep understanding of order-to-cash processes, including customer and product master data, as well as the ability to work with, and make sense of, data from multiple disparate systems. An effective Data Engineer strives for continuous improvement, actively working with stakeholders to identify opportunities and recommend improvements on an ongoing basis. Clear documentation and communication of processes and solutions developed by the Data Engineer are key to ensuring long-term viability, success, and demonstration of ROI to the business. What you need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or related discipline 2 to 4 years of process improvement, automation, or related experience OR Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or related discipline with 0 to 2 years of process improvement experience
Experience in end-to-end process development
Experience with database, ETL, and OLTP methodologies, development, and management
Experience documenting and communicating complex processes and solutions effectively to audiences with varying technical backgrounds
Experience developing on Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Flow, PowerBI), SharePoint, and Microsoft SQL Server strongly preferred
Experience working with SAP, SAP Business Objects, and SAP HANA preferred
Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) preferred
