Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily operations of the establishment, ensuring compliance with TABC and food safety regulations and standards.
- Supervise staff and coordinate food preparation to maintain quality and presentation.
- Oversee customer service initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring deliveries.
- Train and develop staff on best practices in kitchen management, customer service, and TABC and food handling procedures.
- Utilize POS systems for tracking sales, managing orders, and analyzing performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years management required.
- Proven experience in a hospitality management role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TABC and food safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Familiarity with kitchen management processes and POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while leading a team effectively.
- Bartending experience is mandatory.
