What does a great Full Stack Software Development Engineer do?

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our delivery team that builds high-quality software and delivers innovative solutions for our customers. You will work in a fast paced, collaborative environment. You will join an agile delivery team to complete the development, testing, and support of software development project lifecycles

What are some of the basic responsibilities for this role?

Develop web interfaces and underlying business logic.
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to track progress against work you're doing, report status, and dedicatedly identifies issues. Good at prioritizing tasks to meet daily commitments.
Participate in code reviews and code remediation, perform and develop proper unit tests and automation
Participate in a 24 hour on-call rotation to support previous releases of the product. This includes researching problems discovered by QA or product support and developing solutions to the problems.
Perform additional duties as indicated by business needs and as directed by management.
Great teammate / customer service orientation. Demonstrated ability to work with both end users and technical staff.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate information effectively in communications with peers and project management
Prepare any necessary documentation
Financial industry experiences a plus.

What are the required and preferred qualifications you will need for consideration?

BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
4+ years of experience in requirements analysis, object-oriented design, coding and unit testing of scalable, n-tier, fault-tolerant web applications
2 years of current J2EE web application design experience required
2 years C++ experience is strongly preferred
Prior experience in SOAP and/or RESTFul Web Services required
Prior experience with a combination of the following required: J2EE development (WebLogic preferred), Spring Framework; Servlets, EJB3, JXB, JPA2; JSF; HTML5, Ajax, jQuery; XML, JSON; SQL
Online Banking or comparable dynamic web application experience preferred
Experience with test driven development and a tried ability to write test harnesses to facilitate continuous integration is also strongly preferred
