We are growing rapidly and seeking an execution specialist to join our team. You will the utmost important responsibility of completing execution tasks for nonprofit clients and work closely with our CEO, Managing Director of Consulting and Campaign Consultants. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to client case statement design using InDesign (we will train you if you do not have experience), high-level client data management, research, document generation (such as executive summaries of client campaigns and end-of-the-year appeals), and much, much more.
This position is suited for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic that seeks to grow professionally and be exposed and contribute to projects with meaningful impact.
Preferred Skills: Excellent writing and computer skills (Google Drive), Adobe InDesign skills and database management skills. We prefer you be highly organized, work effectively under pressure/deadlines, provide recommendations and produce quality work within tight time constraints. Project management skills also are a must, as you will be working on many projects at once.
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on the work assignment, we may require you to possess ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations or the ability to stand, walk, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. The position also requires you to have the visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read technical information. Overall mobility is preferred. The position may include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.
Work Conditions: Work will be performed indoors with some potential for exposure to typical safety and health hazards. The job may require travel and participation in meetings and conferences, as determined by the Consultant overseeing your work.
Experience: No direct experience is required. It is preferred that you have 2+ years experience working in development, public relations, marketing, sales, communications or project management.
Other: We desire you to have excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail and data management is preferred.. Strong customer service orientation is necessary. Demonstrated ability to work well within a team is required. A demonstrated initiative and ability to handle deadlines, pressure and changing priorities with good judgment is preferred. Additionally, the operational flexibility to meet sudden and unpredictable business needs, as well as the willingness to work outside standard established business hours is preferable.
Travel: Limited, less than 10% of time.
