The Beaute Loft is seeking a creative and hands-on individual to join our team as a Part-Time Product Maker & Workshop Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with their hands, enjoys crafting handmade products, and is passionate about beauty and wellness. The position involves making a variety of bath and body products (such as bath bombs, body butter, and other handcrafted items), assisting with workshops and classes, and supporting popup shop events.
Responsibilities:
- Create handmade bath and body products following recipes and formulas, including bath bombs, body butter, and other skincare products.
- Assist with workshops and classes, helping participants and ensuring the space is set up and cleaned up afterward.
- Support popup shops by setting up displays, engaging with customers, and handling sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including washing equipment, wiping down surfaces, and following hygiene standards (e.g., wearing gloves and protective gear).
- Follow instructions and recipes closely to ensure high-quality products.
- Help package and label products as needed.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for customers and workshop participants.
Requirements:
- Must enjoy working with your hands and have a creative mindset.
- Ability to follow recipes and formulas for product creation.
- Willingness to work hands-on, including standing for long periods, cleaning, and maintaining a hygienic work environment.
- Must be available for at least one Friday evening per month and one weekend popup shop.
- Prior experience in crafting or handmade product creation is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Must love good smells, as you will be working with fragrance oils, essential oils, and other aromatic ingredients.
