We seek an experienced sales executive who is passionate about proactively pursuing new accounts and generating new product revenue through a combination of proactive outreach, and the management of inbound qualified leads.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing global company focused on the sports, media and entertainment industries and in this role you will help shape and scale the product sales organization. We’re looking for sharp, energetic and detail-oriented people who are passionate about implementing solutions that transform the status quo. This individual will be in a key client-facing role and take ownership of all revenue generation for the entire product division; filling and driving the sales pipeline; and closing enterprise-level deals across all industry verticals.
This role is consultative and must include the ability to identify and remove roadblocks and obstacles to increasing business. The ideal fit will be someone with experience selling technology platform services, but also has experience in the delivery of technology services. The primary focus of winning new customers and developing creative approaches to help grow the business and achieve desired targets. The ideal candidate:
Understands consultative selling and is an experienced, self-motivated, high energy, results-driven sales professional
Must have a proven track record as a “hunter” with a natural instinct to be bold and competitive
Is smart, confident, technically strong and industry savvy
Can effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities
This role is located in New York.
Educating customers about our digital product offering
Can create new business development plans and effectively mine territory to develop a new customer base
Meet and manage sales targets
Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and executives to ensure the solutions can be delivered with budget and margin expectations
Help to create sales narratives around service offerings
Generating new leads and and following up leads generated by the demand gen team
Closing customer contracts and generating new sales
Use Salesforce automation tools to track progress and report goals
Analyzing consumer needs and developing innovative solutions
5+ years direct selling experience in software/platform sales (content platforms and mobile experience preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve
Candidates should be prepared to provide work history, including quota requirements and salary (starting and final) for each employer
Excellent communications capabilities (written and verbal skills)
Knowledge of current digital technology trends, platforms and best practices, specifically in the area of digital content/media
Proficient in programs including Salesforce, Google Slides, Google Docs/Sheets
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Demonstrable business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes
Conduct professional presentations that articulate product and technology features and service offerings
