Seeking Financial Education Presenter
Navy Mutual Aid Association, one of the nation’s oldest non-profit veterans service organizations, is seeking a dynamic, passionate, financial education contractor to help us further our established education mission. We are looking for an accredited financial counselor to represent our Education and
Veterans Services Department as an approved DoD educator for Survivor Benefits and other financial literacy topics as needed. This is a part-time, on-demand, contractor position providing support to Navy,
Coast Guard, and Marine Corps bases primarily in the New England and Northwest regions of the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience with the military culture, be comfortable with public speaking, be proficient in military specific personal finance knowledge, and have reliable transportation.
Candidate must also have military base access. Contracted team members are requested to provide approved presentations to military installations approximately 4-6 times per month. A flexible, part- time schedule is required but hours will be scheduled between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. Contactors are paid for presentation and travel time only. Navy Mutual has been an approved DoD educator for over 40 years and is seeking a qualified candidate who can continue our tradition of factual, unbiased financial education. Currently we are seeking team members for the New England (including Cape Cod, Groton, New Castle, Newport, Kittery)and Northwest regions of the United States.
