ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

At Wirecard North America, Product Managers own product vision, strategy and roadmap, working closely with engineers and designers to build products that our customers, partners and other users love. We’re looking for entrepreneurial individuals who are both creative and strategic to come up with innovative products that will help us achieve our mission of reinventing payments. You will be responsible for defining, testing and delivering a product that challenges payments today while making a material impact on customers and the business. To be successful, you will need to bring a creative vision, superior problem-solving skills, and great product instincts, and have the ability to get things done. You will:

  • Own the ideation, development and go-to-market strategy of products and features for a diverse set of customers
  • Work with designers and engineers to define, prioritize, and deliver high impact products quickly
  • Gather feedbackdefine metrics and produce analyses to validate assumptions, inform priorities and monitor product success
  • Travel as required – 10-20% of the time

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, technology, business, or related field; Masters a plus
  • Familiarity with commonly used product terms and concepts
  • 2+ years’ experience in product development, product marketing, or product strategy role preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in the payments, fintech, or banking space would be a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity operating in an Agile environment
  • Technical aptitude, experience working with modern web APIs and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
  • Commitment to personal growth and career development, a strong desire to learn, and success in team environments
  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
  • Ability to learn other software programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
