Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Instructional Designer, eLearning will work as an integral part of a collaborative team to design, develop, and implement entry- and advanced level online eLearning courses for our Sales and Services organizations. These online courses provide learners with information, skills, and strategies needed to support customers with implementation, follow-up/advanced courses, and coaching. The immediate focus of the Senior eLearning Instructional Designer, to build online coursework around revenue generating consultant delivered programs. The Senior eLearning Instructional Designer will use the existing stylebook and guidelines to design, develop, and produce engaging, interactive eLearning courses. This role is heavily focused on eLearning design and development using Articulate Storyline 360, though experience with VILT and ILT instructional design is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
Create interactive and engaging, eLearning courses, narration scripts, screen text, knowledge assessments, facilitator guides and job aids using rapid prototyping, SAM, ADDIE, and agile development approaches.
Work with Curriculum Designers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify course description, learning objectives, content, and eLearning activities.
Take existing and/or new content and develop training from the requirements, design, and storyboard phase through development, testing, and publishing phases.
Build scenario-based eLearning experiences, interactive informational overviews, and more.
Present storyboards and draft materials to SMEs and team members for review.
Manage graphic design needs for each project.
Work with vendor to professionally voice audio and import audio files into finalized instructional materials and edit as needed.
Produce in Storyline 360 and upload finalized course into LMS.
Perform QA reviews.
Keep open line of communication with team members to ensure consistent and accurate course development.
Apply adult learning methodologies and best practices to author asynchronous learning as required for product and services training.
Implement feedback effectively and efficiently.
Thorough familiarity with and ability to apply instructional design principles, strategies, and adult learning theories and methodologies to various types of projects
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of several applications including Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline 360, SnagIT, Photoshop, and more


Ability to travel as needed (20%)

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field or comparable related work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience creating web-based training.
Instructional Design with soft skills training (sales, customer service, coaching)

Expert knowledge of Articulate Storyline, Storyline 360 preferred.
1+ year training experience in virtual environment preferred.
3+ years sales training experience preferred.
Experience with designing usable content and publishing online training to varying platforms including: web, smart phones, tablets (iOS, Android), etc.
Able to learn products, programs and services quickly
Ability to logically organize information
Ability to identify and summarize key business issues into learning examples
Ability to create measurable objectives, based on the audience’s needs
Strong writing skills with the ability to effectively craft scripts/narration from scratch
Ability to collaborate actively with others on cross-functional teams
Effectively communicate both visually and verbally, be a good listener
Employ strong project management, communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for creating innovative educational solutions
Ability to work in a Virtual online environment using Skype for Business, BOX, phone collaboration meetings.
Ability to work effectively under pressure of time constraints and challenging deadlines in a fast-paced, complex, rapidly changing, innovative, invigorating, collaborative and team-oriented environment
Ability to work independently, self-direct, and be self-sufficient while succeeding in a team environment
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
