As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for effectively managing and guiding work teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring team safety, fostering team building, providing resources needed for training and allocating manpower efficiently . You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, achieve throughput and cost targets, and maintain high team morale. Your role is pivotal in coordinating activities to achieve business metrics and implementing Stellantis Production Way (SPW) processes and initiatives. What you wil l do :
Champion a culture of inclusivity and respect to prioritize the well-being of all team members.
Provide training and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Monitor employee work performance and prepare performance reviews to pr ovide continuous feed back.
Collaborate with U nion O fficials to ensure open communication/dialog within the workplace .
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance work operations/processes, product quality, increase throughput, and meet cost targets.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues working with internal/external departments for comprehensive solutions
Coordinate and oversee all activities to achieve key business metrics, while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
High school diploma or GED, recognizing the value of diverse educational backgrounds.
Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required .
Strong communication skills with the a bility to build effective business relationships with plant leadership , U nion O fficials and cus tomers, leveraging diverse perspectives.
Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously , and to be a self-starter.
Know your way around a computer and have exposure to Microsoft Office.
Added bonus if you have :
Bachelor's degree in related field
2 or more years of supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
P rior experience working in a union environment, recognizing the value of collaboration and effective labor-management relations.
Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing . -
You like to troubleshoot issues and make improvements to create an efficient manufacturing en vironment.
