BYTON is seeking a business development and strategy manager who is passionate about enhancing BYTON's business model. To further explore key strategic value pools this role will work with 3rd party partners across businesses, startups, universities etc. The manager will be responsible for supporting and managing strategic relationships with key partners, scouting new opportunities for collaboration, identifying potential alliances, and working across company verticals to onboard and integrate partners into BYTON's ecosystem.

The manager will support strategic work streams to drive growth and scale across the company. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Legal teams to drive, implement and optimize new offerings scaling BYTON's partnership ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct market research and trends across technologies and verticals
  • Evaluate technologies and partners that contribute to our business model
  • Support the strategy by identifying new partners across company verticals
  • Evaluate partners for BYTON's ecosystem with strategic fit
  • Initiate 1st point of contact with potential partners, and support partnership process from scouting stage to business due diligence
  • Work cross-functionally with engineers, legal, product to onboard partners
  • Track, coordinate and manage 3rd party relationships, and liaise with internal stakeholders on investments and M&A activities
  • Drive strategic projects according to key milestone dates and timelines
  • Work closely with global stakeholders across locations (i.e. US, CN, Europe)
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development or partnerships with strong track record of working with teams
  • Experience in technology/automotive industry with strong understanding of mobility and digital segments, ecosystems and market dynamics
  • Positive "can do" attitude, execution focused, and team-oriented
  • Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills
  • Ability to synthesize data, structure and derive strategic recommendations
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional project teams
  • Ability to sell the BYTON company story participating in external events
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, team player with strong communication, presentation and intercultural skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
