Description: We at Sodexo are looking to hire 1-2 general maintenance technicians at our Lake Forest Academy client location site. He or she will be expected to make repairs from both a preventative maintenance and curative work order system to items including, but not limited to, mechanical equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and interior and exterior fixtures. In the event of an emergency, he or she may be called in to support necessary tasks in association with that emergency, including nights and weekends, within a rotating on-call schedule.
General maintenance technicians will work under the guidance and supervision of the Maintenance Manager and be expected to work both independently and collectively with others on the team on tasks assigned throughout the school’s 37 multipurpose buildings.
Employment Type: Full time, benefits eligible. 40 hours/week+
Hourly Rate: $18-26/HR
Working Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Some weekends around the school event calendar are required, and a rotating on-call schedule that will require availability to respond to emergencies, including nights and weekends.

Experience Required:
- Multiple years working in general maintenance position and/or within various skilled trade positions mentioned above
- Maintain very high standards for the quality of the work they are performing
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable form of transportation
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
