This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Sr. Manager of Global SCM Order Management, you will be take part in the following:
In your activities you will demonstrate strong cross functional and multi-country communications with Sales, Marketing, SCM, PMCM and the Executive team.
You will be the liaison between sales/marketing, finance and the SCM factories.
You will take part in the Sales & Operations Planning process, working with the Finance, Sales, Marketing, SCM Purchasing and Master Planning functions to give the factories their unit allocations for material planning.
Your role will be responsible for global logistics management, working with Freight Carriers to set up the best delivery times with the most efficient cost model.
In this position you will be responsible for:
Leading a staff of Order Management and Global Logistics specialist, supervisors, and managers.
Adapt to changing departmental plans and priorities to meet short-term and/or new operational challenges.
Oversee and maintain a training program for increased professionalism and effective management practices.
Willingness to travel and flexibility, including short-term international deployment, is expected.
Since you are interacting with international customers, excellent English skills are necessary, German/Chinese/Spanish language skills and knowledge of other languages is of an advantage.
Very good presentation skills in the sales and executive environment.
Create and use timely reporting (weekly/monthly KPI’s and metrics) of shipments, orders, forecast to actuals.
Working cross functionally to influence internally and externally to meet SCM and corporate goals.
Required Education and Experience to have for this role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 5-8 years Order Management, Finance, and/or S&OP experience; including experience in a Medical Technology industry
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Expert knowledge with ERP and CRM platforms, SAP and SFDC preferred.
Knowledge of Siemens Healthineers processes and procedures is a plus.
Willing to travel up to 20%, international experience is a plus.
Required knowledge and skills to have for the success of this role
Ability to plan, organize, lead and control a remote global team environment.
Requires excellent management, communication and soft people skills.
Ability to analyze a problem, solicit inputs on alternative ideas, and recommend/implement solutions.
Strong ability to delegate and develop leaders within your team.
Experience with Fail-fast attitude and calculate risks appropriately.
Experience collaborating & communicating with senior leaders across the organization.
