Support the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Program Office (PNT PO) with modernization of a variety of existing GPS receivers to meet existing DoD / civil mandates and DoD / national-level priorities

Duties will include planning, executing, and controlling technical aspects of GPS User Equipment Key Loading and Integration Facility (KLIF) and Integrated Support Facility (ISF) programs.
Work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently be called on to provide technical briefings.
Serve as a technical advisor to government personnel.

Provide technical management and engineering support services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of multiple PNT PO GPS modernization programs:

Perform Systems Engineering and Software Engineering planning, requirements generation, and task development and execution for GPS ISF/KLIF programs
Oversee KLIF/ISF projects to include:Developing / evaluating technical requirements, program strategies, memorandums of agreement, statements of work and acquisition plansConducting engineering trade studies and technical analyses
ISF modernization
Software modifications to all GPS User Equipment (UE) including antennas, antenna electronics, receivers, navigation equipment
Independent Validation & Verification test activities
Selective Availability & Anti-Spoofing Module (SASSM) software support to the KLIF & Mobile KLIF
Create training environment for GPS UE equipment
Evaluate 3rd Party Applications for GPS UE
Evaluate GPS Threats and their influence on GPS UE
Evaluating development, integration, and fielding of modernized GPS systems into Joint Service platforms
Evaluating KLIF & ISF performance
Bid and proposal review/analysis

Required Experience:
Active Top Secret Clearance required to be considered for this position
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Atleast 8-10 years related experience
Experience working with a Defense Working Capital Funded Activity
At least 1 tour at AF/Army/Navy Product/Logistics Center assigned to a System Program Office (or civilian / industry equivalent)
Experience with defense acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 series directives
Clear understanding of the OSD and USAF Acquisition and Sustainment organization
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbally

Preferred Experience:
10 - 15 years related experience
Experience with GPS integration on military platforms
Level II DAWIA Certification in Systems Planning, Research, Development & Engineering
