Training & Development Specialist must have experience with training,
curriculum development, presenting, and the creation of training modules and
manuals. They will work with internal and external subject matter experts
(SMEs) to ensure course materials provide current and relevant information.
They will establish training requirements, standards and schedules, as well,
plan course design and support documentation. They will analyze training needs,
prepare special courses and related manuals, and acquire resources needed to
carry out training programs. The candidate will also have hands-on experience
in working with Operations in the field to create and train with these
Create, develop, and implement innovative
user-friendly training materials that improve employee knowledge, support
development, and retention.
Develop a training curricula and on-boarding
training schedule for new hires and ongoing training for store managers,
assistant managers, CSRs, and kitchen team members. Coordinate with all departments (SMEs)
for engagement and relevant content.
Development and publishing of Training Manuals, Safety
Manuals, and Quick Reference Guides.
Development and publishing of job aids to support
initiatives in category management, foodservice, HR, IT, and operations.
Development and publishing of Operations manual.
Develop rewards/acknowledgement system for
completion of training.
Partner with Operations leadership to diagnose,
assess, and develop solutions to ensure effective team development.
Management of the RTO Training program and
development of additional training videos/interactive modules.
Provide maintenance and management all training
manuals, guides, and videos.
Work with function heads to develop a guide to
documentation of team member processes.
Collaborate with support functions (HR, IT, F&A)
an operation on team member compliance with safety and process
Must be able to utilize a variety of the training
methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices and
leverage technology to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs
onsite or virtually.
Communicates closely with HR regarding the tracking
of employee training completion.
Support employees with training during New Store
As the company and position grows, be able to manage
other trainers, include in-store trainers. *All
other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, training and development, instructional design or another related field required. Masters preferred.
