The Community Marketing Specialist - Western Division will work to create and strengthen relationships between the community and TBK Bank, SSB. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with a passion for marketing and communication. They must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to easily adapt to changing priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute community events, coordinate outreach campaigns, and build relationships aimed at increasing awareness of TBK Bank within the communities served by the bank's Western Division, assuring events are in line with the TBK Bank brand
  • Facilitate community relations and philanthropic sponsorship requests for the Western Division and assure appropriate follow-up and documentation
  • Manage the budgets for community related events and sponsorship relations for the Western Division
  • Work with internal and external resources to produce event related marketing materials and branded items, timely and cost effectively.
  • Assists in development of content for internal and external marketing communication projects including brochures, digital signage, social media, websites, emails, newsletters, and PowerPoints
  • Participate in the execution of integrated marketing programs to support growth of the bank's retail banking products and services
  • Write and coordinate distribution of press releases, newsletters, blog articles, and social media posts
  • Maintain content on the intranet
  • Other duties are included, as assigned by AVP of Marketing & Communication, or executives

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations (or equivalent education and/or experience) required
  • 2-5 years of marketing experience minimum
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with an impeccable attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while prioritizing heavy workloads and meeting time sensitive deadlines
  • Team player with a strong work ethic; promotes and enjoys a creative work environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills along with great organization skills, attention to detail and a sense of humor
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to understand complex projects
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Social Media experience (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube)
  • Photography and video editing skills preferred
  • Experience developing marketing campaigns via CRM/marketing automation software (Salesforce, Pardot or similar) preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop preferred
  • Some travel within territory required
