cosmetologist /hairstylist Duties:
- Provide a wide range of hair care services including cutting, coloring, Men haircut fade , regular gentlemen cut and styling
- Perform hair treatments such as deep conditioning and scalp massages
- Stay up-to-date with current hair trends and techniques
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable hairstyles
- Use professional products and tools to achieve desired results
- Maintain a clean and organized work station your side work before you go home !!
- Handle cash transactions and book appointments using salon software (e.g., MINDBODY)
- Assist with front desk duties as needed
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology license
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role
- Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including the use of straight razors
- Knowledge of color theory and ability to perform color services
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience with retail sales is a plus
- Knowledge of make is a plus
