Position Summary The Commercial Loan Support Specialist is an essential, service oriented role responsible for providing A+ customer service to commercial lending personnel by accurately and promptly handling all commercial loan support functions. Additionally, this role allows opportunity for supplemental projects, including document preparation and review as time/needs permit. This position expands to Commercial Loan Support Specialist II to include a high level of documentation and more advanced knowledge of the commercial loan process.

Essential Job Functions
  • Reviewing, tracking, and imaging all trailing, missing documents
  • Reviewing, tracking, and reporting on expiring documents
  • Post-closing loan clean-up, review and support for trackable items
  • Assisting with data collection and reporting for commercial loan support projects
  • Performing in a back-up role to all other commercial loan support positions as needed
  • Demonstrating the ability to make sound decisions based upon bank policies, procedures, knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrating the ability to effectively and accurately communicate with commercial lending officers and assistants
  • Adhering to bank policies, procedures, industry/market standards and advice of legal counsel
  • Contributing to a positive work atmosphere of mutual respect
  • Maintaining confidentiality of customer information
  • Responding positively to both peer and management feedback and coaching
  • Maintaining workstation equipment and other office equipment
  • Managing multiple tasks and responding to pressure and change with poise and confidence
  • Fully utilizing the systems, tools, training and resources provided to maximize potential
  • Assisting other co-workers and willingly cross-training in other areas as needed

Computer Skills Requirements
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Visual Studio, Info-Access, OnBase, and LaserPro would be beneficial
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Some Commercial Loan Processing preferred
