Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessment due diligence work including field investigations.
Support data compilation/evaluation functions.
Abide by ATC?s health and safety policies and procedures. Basic qualifications:
B.S. in a related environmental field required
2-5 years’ experience conducting environmental due diligence work
Wetland Delineation, soil science, plant identification
Experience with Phase II ESA / Subsurface Investigations
Valid driver’s license required as field work and local site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation.
Preferred certifications include State of Ohio Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist; 40-hour HAZWOPER training a plus
Have basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office; must be able to enter, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form
Knowledge and understanding of NEPA
Should possess a good understanding of trade and technical terminology, including knowledge and understanding of ASTM E 1527.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects with minimal supervision to meet established deadlines
Must be able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of coworkers, clients and other external contracts
