Media Planner (Mid-level)

We are seeking a media planner (at other agencies, this position is equal to that of a media planning supervisor) with three to seven years of media planning experience to contribute to our clients’ campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective media plans to support client campaigns and brands
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of multiple clients’ businesses and their competitors to produce valuable information and insights to deliver on objectives
  • Participate in long-range strategic planning for client
  • Prepare and present recommendations internally and to clients
  • Proactively seek, review, and develop new and innovative media solutions
  • Evaluate various media proposals
  • Perform campaign analysis directly relevant to optimization and/or planning and buying decisions
  • Write and review media documents (timelines, points of view, proposals, plans, client memos, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external partners
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus three to seven years of media planning experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Expertise in all forms of media including broadcast, print, out-of-home, and all digital advertising forms – search, display, email, content integration, viral marketing, cross-platform, etc.
  • Experience with media planning tools (Mediaocean, MediaTools, Kantar, Telmar, comScore, Sizmek)
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects through effective levels of organization and delegation to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Experience managing and guiding media planners
