Currently we are looking for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to assist the Sales Department and General Manager by performing general administrative duties as well as duties relating to hotel sales and marketing.
Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Sales & Marketing Coordinator include:
Receive incoming inquiry calls and begin the sales process; determine which sales manager the call should be directed to.
Assist with entering bookings for Sales Managers and Director of Sales & Marketing; set traces to appropriate team member, merge contracts and assist with completing event traces.
Prepare and distribute weekly BEOs, resumes and cover pages.
Set up house accounts and group masters. Assist with entering rooming lists, posting charges, authorizing credit cards and ensuring accounts are paid.
Social Media maintenance.
Assist with creating in-house marketing pieces such as flyers, menus and other promotional items
General office/administrative duties
Additional duties as assigned.
At least one (1) year of Administrative and/or Marketing experience. Hotel experience is preferred.
Strong multi-tasking skills.
Computer literate with knowledge of Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel. SalesPro and OnQ desirable but not required.
Excellent communication and hospitality skills required.
Must be organized, self-motivated and able to produce professional business correspondence in a timely manner.
Strong presentation skills.
