We are seeking a dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team at a private school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in literacy education, early intervention, physical education, and special education. This position involves working with students, including those with autism, to provide quality education and support their development.
Duties
- Educate elementary school students using effective teaching methods
- Implement behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment
- Provide early intervention support for students who require additional assistance
- Communicate effectively with students and colleagues
- Utilize specialized knowledge in special education to cater to diverse learning needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification/license
- Proven experience working with elementary school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
- Experience in literacy education and special education is preferred
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.27 - $22.65 per hour
Schedule:
- After school
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
