Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Quality Control and Safety Specialist that has knowledge within multiple construction areas and who prides themselves on their ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to complex problems to join our team. The candidate must be highly organized, professional, excellent communicator, efficient, self-starter, and a hard work ethic.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Inspect and audit construction sites and company properties to ensure compliance with quality control and safety standards
· Help superintendents and projects closeout punch lists
· Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers/Architects, Sub-Contractors, and Owners to address quality and safety concerns promptly
· Conduct safety/environmental training on quality control measures, safety protocols, and best practices
· Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to monitor construction activities and verify compliance with project requirements
· Evaluate contractor operational practices/equipment for safety compliance
· Participate in project meetings to provide insights and recommendations on quality and safety related issues
· Work with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors on maintaining desired scheduled completions
· Assist in whatever capacity necessary in order to provide the best possible quality product and completion is on schedule
· Required travel to company job sites and locations
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field experience
· Proven experience as a leader in the Commercial Construction industry
· Extremely detail-oriented
· Valid Driver’s License
· Excellent communication and strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and propose solutions
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
