Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team. Candidates will be responsible for overseeing and executing various carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion. Candidates must have construction experience. Work will be in Upshur county and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- 5 years of verifiable construction experience ( REQUIRED)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Certification in carpentry or related field is a plus
Duties
- Manage and lead carpentry projects from start to finish
- Perform carpentry tasks including cabinet installation, flooring installation, CNC operation, caulking, water damage restoration, and fabrication
- Coordinate with construction teams on-site to ensure project requirements are met
- Supervise and train carpentry team members
- Maintain a safe and organized construction site
- Collaborate with clients to understand project needs and provide solutions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
