PPL supports individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and aging adults to remain in their homes and communities and “self-direct” their own services. Our role as the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service (FMS) provider is to assist people accessing services to choose and pay for their own caregivers, support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget or spending plan, like the Self-Determination Program through the California Department of Developmental Services. We are appointed or approved by states, managed healthcare organizations, or case management agencies, like the Regional Centers, to better serve more of their members and participants requiring services and supports and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services and program funds. This role specifically works with participants and stakeholders in the Self-Determination Program and other self-directed programs and the Regional Centers.
Our culture attracts and rewards people who are results-oriented and strive to exceed customer expectations. We desire motivated candidates who are excited to join our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and who want to make a difference in helping transform the lives of the people we serve (learn more at https://pplfirst.com/programs/california/ca-sdp/).
