The Senior application Developer leads a team of individuals through an application project; providing instruction on various technical topics to other team members, education/training new hires, provide mentorship to team members, manage an application project through the entire project life cycle while meeting project deadlines and initiatives and monitoring a project plan while reporting project changes and status to administration

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and coordinate upgrades, new releases or changes to the assigned environment.
Understand and can describe clinical/operational processes / needs and transform them into scope and/or requirements during the development of functionality and application process.
Generate and update appropriate documentation as per policy and procedure. Including requirements, specifications, change control, end user documentation.
Act as Project Management and Demand Lead to implement and manage projects and personnel through Program Management Office (PMO).
Ensure a high level of quality service to the client. Design and execute process improvement and project management methodologies.
Financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes and practices.
Provide ongoing maintenance, support and development to assigned applications and implement new product.
Provide education, training and mentoring of team resources in an effort to collaborate, share knowledge and grow depth and experience of the team.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:
Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds, pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or Healthcare Administration or equivalent work experience is required. Advanced Degree (MBA, MPH, MPA) is preferred. ServiceNow Admin certification.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
5 - 7 years of general computer experience is required. 5 - 7 years of healthcare experience is required. Strong clinical experience and knowledge for medication management are preferred. 4+ years experience with ServiceNow. 1 – 2 years of Project Management is preferred. Programming language: Java (required). ServiceNow (required). MS Office (required). General, Radiology, Pharmacy, Nursing, Laboratory, Physician Services, Patient Care Services experience is preferred.
