The Network Design Lead, North America is a strategic role that owns and drive strategic decision-making through providing analysis and insights to leadership team to identify critical issues/questions around our Manufacturing & Logistics Network. This person will play a key role in driving supply chain business results, identify and act on inefficiencies, building relationships with internal and external customers.
Lead a team of 5 individuals (2 KHC & 3 Genpact) that are responsible for bringing at least $50MM of savings in the next 4 years
Lead the Network governance process. This process is a high impact cross-functional process that brings visibility and decision-making to the US Operations LT and to the Global Operations LT
Expand area of influence to include origination of any logistics or manufacturing capacity projects, validation with S&OP + BU Ops, bring visibility to the LT & hand them over to BD + Engineering for execution
Recommend factory closures, acquisitions, Greenfields, Brownfields through data analysis and cross-functional validation of assumptions
Drive strategic discussions with organization to enhance in-house capabilities and enable more savings origination
Influence and lead processes to measure and drive logistics & manufacturing optimization (service and cost)
Lead daily, weekly and monthly KPI and strategic sessions w/ Operations Executive Leadership
Develop team to serve as Center of Excellence for data source, systems settings, storage and its integration
Generate hypotheses and have team analyze data to test and interpret results
Searching for and integrating new data (both internal and external) that improves visibility (and ultimately decisions)
Discovery of solutions to business problems that can be solved using data modeling
Understand SAP, TMS, WMS, Tableau and other business systems and configuration to drive cost, capacity and efficiency improvements throughout logistics
Bachelor’s degree; Engineering or Logistics/Supply Degree strongly preferred
5-7 years business experience is required; preferably in a Logistics/Supply Chain Consulting capacity
Prior experience in analyzing financial, supply chain related data and optimization modelling
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), HANA, BI, Tableau, SQL or similar coding platform, SAP, TMS, WMS
Willingness to travel and relocate in a nationwide setting
Ability to be comfortable in a fast paced, stressful environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving skills
