Our dedicated team is seeking an outgoing, dynamic, and compassionate Optometric Technician/Optician to help our doctors provide care and serve the retail needs of our patients.
JOB DUTIES:
- Pre-test patients (autorefraction, autolensometry, ICare tonometry, color vision & depth perception testing, etc.)
- Ancillary testing duties: Optomap retinal imaging, OCT, and Humphrey Visual Field Testing
- Maintain efficient patient flow
- Assist patients with frame & lens selection
- Measure and complete full eyewear ordering process for patients
- Handle minor repairs and frame adjustments
- Insurance benefit knowledge and the ability to communicate said benefits to patients

PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
High school diploma or GED required; vocational certification or some college preferred. This is a full-time or part-time position, compensated on an hourly basis. For full-time, we prefer help Mondays & Thursdays 9am-7pm, Wednesdays & Fridays 9am-3pm and Saturdays 8:30am-12:00pm. For part-time, we prefer help Mondays & Thursdays 12pm-7pm, Wednesdays 9am-3pm, and Saturdays 8:30am-12:00pm. On-site training available.
