About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25 . This position is located at the National Ground Intelligence Center, NGIC Element at NSA, Fort Meade, MD 20755.
Serves as the Administrative Assistant / Special Security Representative (SRR) for the National Ground Intelligence Center ? National Capitol Region (NGIC-NCR) office, co-located with the National Security Agency.
Independently performs office management, logistical, and critical interagency coordination duties, to include functions that enhance administrative, internal and external communications, staffing and organization effectiveness.
Manages time and attendance, temporary duty travel (TDY), employee leave, supply procurement, conference coordination, calendar management and synchronization, etc.) and requirements supporting the NGIC-NCR office.
Responsible for the direction of all administrative and special security representative coordinating functions.
Assistant Special Security Officer solely responsible for special security, personnel and physical security actions to fulfill service/agency requirements.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and or experience requirements described below. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GG/GS-08 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in performing and coordinating a variety of clerical and administrative work for an office such as, preparing travel arrangements, creating reports, reviewing and preparing correspondence to ensure grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure are in accordance with policy and experience managing long and short range calendars for higher level officials.
Successfully completion of a Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration, Public Administration. Experience described above, but less than one year; and I have some graduate level education as described in B, but less than the required one and a half years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12.
